Dry Ice Packaging
Deep frozen transport of Biological Substances
In case of Dry Ice use for transport frozen bIological Substances (like serum) you have to follow particulair rules beside the P650. On the outer packaging there should be an extra label applied. (See chapter Labels)
Cooled 2-8°C transport
In some cases it is preferred to transport Biological Substances between 2-8°C. The P650 packaging cooled (ref 520200) is a solution, for that purpose is a special designed cooling element developed and should be ordered seperately. If transport is done by car the strong and isolated Silverbag series will give you a variaty of solutions. Special designed Tempshells offer you a flexible way of construct your own transport solution. The Tempshells are modulair and are available in - 30°C, -18°C, +4°C, +22°C and +37°C . The temperature remains consistant for 10 hours ( depending on the external temperature). For more information call or mail.

When temperature doesn't matter when transporting Biological Substances, the MiniMailBox is the perfect transport system. Tested by the BAM (Germany) and approved for the P650 and PI650. For extra protection of your expensive specimens you can choose to use the Transportblisters or a Safetybag with bubbles. Part of the For P650 and PI650 are the leakproofbags and absorbent materials.
For this purpose you can choose for a complete P650/PI650 transport system: ref. 520150 ( MiniMailBox, Safetybag bubble and 4 bay absorbent pouch)
For the Netherlands
P650 for transport by mail is adjusted to the local situation in the Netherlands. (No mail is transported by air). Inside the custom-made PolyMed a leakproof SafetyBag, a Transportblister (protection of the sample and the rigid part of the P650) and enough absorbing material that can absorb the total content of the blister, is placed. This combination was tested by a Government Testing Institute (TNO) and has been approved.
